Brilliantcharity day
Milers of all ages were sponsored to do one, three or six miles around the collection of offices situated in a parkland setting.
The day was a massive success with friends, families and workmates joining together in friendly rivalry to go the extra mile for Sport Relief 2012.

Hide AdWith picture-perfect blue skies and a stunning setting, the Graylands Mile provided the ideal location for a charity run. But the fun didn’t stop at the Mile, with a bouncy castle, face-painting, Easter Egg Hunt and a spectacular performance from Graylands Estate’s own Fi Steps dancing school.
We couldn’t have hoped for a better day. Watching the community come together to support such a great cause was brilliant!
We feel very proud knowing the money raised here will help people living unimaginably tough lives right here in Horsham, across the rest of the UK, and in some of the world’s poorest countries.
More than one million men, women and children came together to walk, run or hop one, three or six miles at the hundreds of Sainsbury’s Sport Relief events that took place across the length and breadth of the country over the Sport Relief weekend.

enjoyable
ON MARCH 30, governors and parents of Year 4 at Arunside School in Horsham were invited to an end of topic celebration of VE Day.

Hide AdWe were entertained with a play highlighting what it was like to be evacuated, and caught in an air raid, and the pupils then sang a medley of wartime songs.
Afterwards we were treated to a delicious tea, prepared by the pupils, staff and families.
Every pupil took part, and were word perfect. When speaking to the pupils afterwards it was obvious they had really enjoyed the topic, and spoke confidently about the research they had done, and the information they had used.
On display were their topic books and models of Anderson shelters, again of a very high standard.
