Carols and Capers from true folk legend

Maddy is one of the most familiar voices in British folk rock having sparked interest with her vocal on All Around My Hat in the 1970’s.

The Carnival Band is made up of “five musical explorers, five voices, twenty five instruments,and five hundred fresh ideas for making joyous music.”

Together with Maddy they mix renaissance, modern and ethnic instruments with a refreshing cavalier attitude and plenty of humour, putting their inimitable stamp on a range of familiar favourites that will undoubtedly include The Boars Head, Away in a Manger, Wassail, Joy to the World, While Shepherds Watched and I Saw Three Ships.

This is described as “a Christmas Party to remember in a venue never to be forgotten!”
