Charity race night in Wick

A CHARITY race night is being held at The Labour Club, Wick Street, Wick, on Saturday (September 8).

The event is in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Admission is £1, but racegoers are asked to take along their wallets and purses to contribute to a good cause and have fun at the same time.

Starter’s orders for the first race will be at 7.50pm and for those who don’t fancy a flutter on the horses, there will be a raffle and a disco to dance the night away.

Liam Vine, one of the organisers, said: “Everyone is welcome, so bring family, friends, anyone!

“All will have a fun-filled evening.”
