An exceptional “Jazz Breakfast” at The Harbour Club in Shoreham on Sunday 3rd November will feature Mike Hatchard recreating one of the most famous jazz piano performances of all time, Erroll Garner’s Concert by the Sea. Mike will be accompanied by Paul Morgan bass and Bobby Worth drums.

The recording of Garner’s actual concert sold a million copies within three years of its release. Garner had a unique unmistakeable swing playing style. With his phenomenal talent he was playing in a band in a regular slot on a radio programme in Pittsburgh by the age of seven and performing professionally by the age of eleven.

Mike is well known as the genial host of the monthly “Jazz Breakfast” at The Harbour Club in Shoreham which takes place on the first Sunday of the month. With his many talented guests Mike often keeps himself in the musical background, but he is in fact a brilliantly talented jazz and classical pianist. After leaving the Royal College of Music and the National Jazz Youth Orchestra Mike toured America with Cleo Lane and he has been endlessly busy as a musician ever since.

The Jazz Breakfast starts as usual at 11am. Tickets are £15 from WeGotTickets.com with no booking fee.
