Cooden Millennium Afternoon Townswomen's Guild

Tables were set with lots of nibbles and goodies and there was a beautiful birthday cake made by Doreen Shields one of our members.

Mrs Appleyard our chairperson welcomed us all and told her usual joke.

Our visitors from many of the Guilds around were welcomed and seated.

Business was kept brief and to the point. Raffle tickets sold and our Knick Knacks table did a brisk and profitable trade.

Tea was a very chatty, friendly affair, the cake cut and enjoyed, the plants on the tables won by one person on each table and the general raffle drawn. We then played CDs and had a sing along which everyone enjoyed.

Lots of thanks from visitors and one from Mrs Renee Parsons (President of the Federation) saying how much she had enjoyed the day.

Next meeting the first Wednesday in February in the Community Hall, 2-4pm.
