THE club met on Thursday, January 17 at Irene's house. We made cards in the shape of a ball gown using glitter card and organza material.

Every card was different and looked very nice. This club is full at the moment but we will put names on a waiting list. Please phone Val on 01424 213184 for more details.

We had a very successful trip to the Make It Show at Farnborough on Saturday, January 19 and had a nearly full coach. A raffle was held on the coach with 18 prizes and 100 was raised for St Michael's Hospice.

Irene would like to thank everyone who came on the trip and also all the people who bought raffle tickets.

Our sister club Crafts 4 U met on Thursday, January 3 when we did pin prick embroidery.

This club meets on the first Thursday of the month at St Martha's Hall, Little Common, 10am till noon. Everyone is welcome to come along and give us a try. Your first meeting is free.

After that the cost is 2.50 including refreshments and a kit of what we are making that day. For further details please phone Rosemary on 01424 853847 or Linda on 01424 225113.

The next meeting is on Thursday, February 7 when we will be doing iris folding.
