The Red Dirt Skinners’ rule breaking individuality has led to them being the first band in history to succeed at both the British Blues Awards and the British Country Music Awards (2013). The band’s music has wide appeal and comfortably blends country, blues, Americana and folk music.

The Skinners love performing live, their vocal harmonies have been described as “sublime” and “beyond perfection”, displaying a wonderful exuberance and confidence on stage.

Extensive worldwide airplay of all three albums has led to a strong and supportive fan base, who funded the third album by donations.

Recently given 4/5 stars by the Daily Mirror for their current album and described by Classic Rock Magazine as “The First Couple of British Country”, the duo are eagerly awaiting the results of the 2014 British Blues Awards and the UK Country Radio Awards, where they are hotly tipped to win Instrumentalist of the Year and Act of the Year.
