Downs Ladies Club
LEADER Anne Tasker gave a warm New Years welcome to members at the first meeting of a new year.
After an early cuppa the raffle was drawn, before members settled down to a few games of bingo.
Our next meeting will be on February 12 when our speaker will be Mr Eric Stevens whose talk is entitled "Why do plays have scenery".
Feel free to come along for a welcoming cuppa and a chat.
We meet in the small hall of St Stephen's Church, Woodsgate Park, from 2.15-4.15pm.
