Down's Ladies Club - June 27

The afternoon was spent enjoying a birthday tea of strawberries and cream plus birthday cake and reminiscing over past meetings and events.

We also perused old photographs that various members had taken over the years. This was followed by our usual excellent birthday raffle.

Our final meet up will be when members gather for a farewell lunch at the Wheatsheaf restaurant at the end of the week.

Anne thanked everyone for their support over the past three-and-a-half years. We hope to meet up occasionally in the future. We would like to thank the Observer for their continued support over the past three-and-a-half years in putting our write-up in the paper each month. Many thanks.
