Dromos festival appeals for musicians

A FREE music and arts festival is appealing for local performers to come forward.

Dromos Festival, an eclectic mix of theatre, dance, music, street performance and workshops, will be at Church Farm, Coombes, on Sunday, July 15, and Horsham Park on Saturday, July 21.

“We are dedicated to finding the most exciting, unusual performance that we can, and bringing it to your doorstep,” said Martin Atkinson, from Dromos.

Acts already announced for the Church Farm event include Talking Birds Theatre, with The Whale, and dance company Just Jhoom.

Acts announced for the Horsham Park event include West African story-teller, Usifu Jalloh.

Both events are free of charge and open from noon to 5pm.
