Eastbourne and District Camcorder Club

ALAN Tutt chaired a session on December 5 during which members were invited to seek advice on any problems which they may have been encountering during video film editing and production.

The questions ranged from the re-use of re-writable DVDs to reasons as to why CDs and DVDs would not accept material which they had been asked to burn.

The last meeting for 2007 was held on December 19 and the partners of members were invited to attend so as to celebrate the season. During the first half of the meeting the entertainment provided consisted of a showing of the following films:

1 David Hillebrand's "Turkey, tinsel and Tenacious"

2 Keith Monk's "Letting go"

3 John Pickett's "Scotland reprise"

4 Harry Lederman's "50th Anniversary"

5 Alan Tutt's "Painting my own portrait"

6 Alan Tutt and Harry Lederman's "The art of making trugs"

Brian Arndle was not well enough to attend but his wife, Diana, had prepared a sumptuous selection of delicate sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, chocolate logs and other goodies to go with tea, coffee and chocolate drinks.

It was an excellent way to celebrate the ending of another successful year.
