Expect some extra surprises at Last Wave on Broadway

Last Wave on Broadway runs on August Bank Holiday Sunday from 11am to 10pm.

Sarah Brook, events co-ordinator, said: “The show kicks off at 11am with lively Greek folk, classical and jazz music from Plastikes Karekles. Keep that Sunday vibe alive with jazz and swing from the Sussex Stompers, Sweetheart Swing, the Downsbeat Swing Band and Rat Pack crooner Dean Ager.

“Also performing will be Stephen Bloy from ITV’s The Voice and the fabulous Sussex-based Ariel Musicality Choir – a definite must-see.

“Fall in love with the wonderful 19-year-old Scottish singer/songwriter Charlotte Black and enjoy the Bonfire Radicals’ fresh take on folk music.

“Voices Live will delight you with a host of operatic arias and show tunes.

“From mid-afternoon onwards, it’s party time! Cover bands The Super Sonic ’70s, The Project and White Light provide high-energy tunes to get you dancing in the street ready for the headliners of the night: Re-Take That, Mainly Madness and The Bohemians.”

Sarah added: “As this will be It’s Magic’s last ever Broadway Music Festival, be sure to expect a few extra surprises and perhaps a sprinkling of magic dust too from a team of magicians to entertain you as you chill out.

“For children there will be Jimmy The Juggler and face-painters to turn you into your fantasy dream. For those with high energy, Rollapaluza will be onsite with static bikes to test your skills and achieve the fastest speed.

“Let’s celebrate together and make the most of the summer on Sunday, August 30 (11am-10pm) – and all make waves on Broadway one last time.”
