Tomorrow (Saturday) Dromos will be bringing its diverse programme to The Stade as part of the Stade Saturdays programme.

It will be an afternoon of clowning, theatre, music and magic from 2pm to 6pm, followed by an evening concert featuring local band Dorey the Wise, plus support, from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Dromos is run by a team of young producers and showcases original work in dance, theatre and music, mixing contemporary culture with local tradition and providing a stage for young local artists and community groups to perform to large audiences alongside established artists.

The festival also gives young producers the opportunity to gain work experience and a vital first step into the arts industry, with support from industry experts.

Entertainment will come from, among others:

Bootworks Theatre Company, which will be performing a murder mystery of miniscule proportions; Sleeping Trees Theatre, a trio of multi-medium storytellers, fresh from a successful run at Brighton Fringe; and Ije, a singer/songwriter from Hertfordshire.
