Extra dates and films for Goodwood's drive-in movie spectacular

Extra films and extra dates have been added to the programme for Goodwood’s drive-in movie experience this summer.

Goodwood have now confirmed screenings of Aladdin (2019) (PG); Avengers: Infinity War (12); Beauty And The Beast (2017) (PG); Black Panther (12A); Bohemian Rhapsody (12A); Deadpool (15); Die Hard (18); Frozen (U); Guardians Of The Galaxy (12A); Jojo Rabbit (12A); Le Mans ‘66 (Ford Vs. Ferrari) (12); Lion King (2019) (PG); Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12A); Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (U); The Greatest Showman (PG); and Thor: Ragnorok (12A).

Goodwood is the latest venue to offer a drive-in movie experience this summer.

Tickets are now on sale as Goodwood and Secret Cinema team up to launch The Drive-In, a brand-new event created to “bring a much-needed dose of fun into our lives and allow us all to come together again, even while we’re apart.”

The screenings will be at Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester PO18 0PX.

A Goodwood spokesman said: “Famous for creating suspense and spectacle beyond any film-lover's imagination, Secret Cinema are pioneers of storytelling.

“Bring your household along from Sunday, July 5, for an immersive drive-in experience like no other, with interactive pre-screening performances, delicious American diner-style food delivered to your car and, of course, some of your very favourite films.”

The first batch of confirmed films were: Films lined up are Rush (15), Cars (PG), Star Wars: A New Hope (U), Fight Club (18), Moulin Rouge! (12A), American Psycho (18), Toy Story (PG), Reservoir Dogs (18), The Incredibles (U), Pretty Woman (15), Dirty Dancing (12), Zootropolis (PG), Knives Out (12A), The Hunger Games (15), Mary Poppins Returns (U) and Moana (PG).

The Drive-In, presented by Häagen-Dazs, will open at 7pm on Sunday, July 5.

A spokesman said: “Please note, our Drive-In events will operate whilst fully adhering to the Government’s guidelines around social distancing.”

Drive-in cinemas have already been announced for Loxwood, Chichester, Eastbourne and Brighton.
