FILM REVIEW: Apollo 18

GONZALO Lopez-Gallego directs this science fiction horror styled as found footage a la The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity.

In December 1974, the two-man crew of Apollo 18 blasts off from Earth bound for the Moon.

Touching down on the surface, the astronauts nostalgically look at the footprints of the men who have boldly walked before them.

However, the Americans are in for a shock: they discover a dead Russian cosmonaut on the surface and evidence of foul play.

Struggling to understand what could have happened, the two men come under attack from voracious parasitic life forms that live on the moon.
