Writer-director Andrew Haigh comes on leaps and bounds from his debut Greek Pete with his impressive second feature, a haunting romance in the spirit of Brief Encounter and Before Sunrise.

Russell (Tom Cullen) celebrates a friend’s birthday party and on the way home, he ventures into a club and spots Glen (Chris New). The two flirt and in the morning, Russell wakes to find Glen in bed beside him.
