All the taster sessions are taking place at Sea Lane Café in Goring.

Nordic walking came from Scandinavia and is an outdoor form of hiking that uses specially-designed poles. Poles will be provided for the one-hour taster sessions.

It is a particularly effective form of exercise for older people who, due to balance and joint problems, and low fitness levels, are often afraid to take up vigorous exercise.

Places for the sessions will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, as will places on the five-week courses that follow.

To register for one of the free sessions, contact Annabelle Trent on 01273 263347 or email annabelle.trent@adur.gov.uk
