Flower show full of colour

Ellens Green & Rudgwick Gardening Association will be holding its first horticultural show of the year at Rudgwick Village Hall, Bucks Green, on Saturday March 29, from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a spring afternoon viewing the many classes of golden daffodils, hellebores and other dazzling flowers, along with floral art, home fare and children’s exhibits.

There will be a special section for entries from Rudgwick Primary School and trophies to be awarded.

Mike Clarke, EGRGA Chairman, said: “After the awful winter months of incessant rain, the Spring Show reminds us of the pleasure and colour that gardens are now bringing us.”

There will also be a cake stall, a plant stall, a raffle and delicious homemade teas.
