GADGET SHOW: Sight-loss event in Worthing

The day is being hosted by West Sussex sight-loss charity 4SIGHT, on Wednesday, October 13, at the Richmond Room, in Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing.

There will be a range of stands from 10am to 3pm, featuring equipment for sight-impaired people such as talking clocks and watches, devices which bleep to prevent overfilling a cup, and frames to aid writing letters.

There will also be advice from organisations such as Action for Deafness, Worthing Society for the Blind, members of the West Sussex County Council Sensory Services team, Adur Talking News, Torch Fellowship, Macular Disease Society and the local library service.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
