Going for the Byrne but Ed stays cool

But Byrne has been in the business long enough to know that the tour isn't necessarily generating its own head of steam

"A lot of the time it is not necessarily how good your stand-up show is, it's more about how much TV you are doing.

"The reviews have been great and the reception I have had is the best in 10 years, but I have over the years that that does not necessarily shift the tickets in the same way that appearing on Have I Got News For You or Mock The Week does," he said.
