The Good Old Days atWhite Rock Theatre

Featuring special guest stars Lionel Blair and Lee Thompson, all your old favourite songs will be performed, including classics such as Oh, What a Beauty, You Made Me Love You, Ma, He’s Making Eyes at Me, Down at the Old Bull and Bush and many, many more.

In keeping with the original show, fancy dress is wholeheartedly encouraged, so come suitably dressed in the period of late 18th century to the 1930s – with prizes for the best costume!

The Good Old Days is a truly magical show celebrating the golden age of musical theatre so audiences should come join in the nostalgia.

The show is on Friday, August 27 and starts at 7.30pm.

The Good Old Days was a popular BBC television light entertainment programme which ran from 1953 to 1983.

It was performed at the Leeds City Varieties and recreated an authentic atmosphere of the Victorian–Edwardian music hall with songs and sketches of the era performed by present-day performers in the style of the original artistes.

The show was compered by Leonard Sachs and in the course of its run it featured about 2,000 performers.
