Hurst villagers open their gardens in aid of St Catherine’s

Ten gardens in Hurstpierpoint will be open to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley on Sunday (June 16).

The gardens that will be opening are:- numbers 41, 49, 59 and 63 Wickham Hill; Little Washbrook Cottage; Little Washbrook Farm; Hampton Lodge Cottage; and Pierpoint Lodge, all of which are on Brighton Rd; 5 Lawrence Way; and 3 Weald Close, both of which are off Cuckfield Road.

The gardens are open from 1pm to 5.30pm and entry is £5 per adult, which gives you entry to all 10 gardens. Children are free.

There will be plants on sale at 59 Wickham Hill and Little Washbrook Cottage.

Teas and home-made cakes will be served at 5 Lawrence Way, 59 Wickham Hill and Little Washbrook Farm and lemonade will be available at Hampton Lodge Cottage.

And there’s no need to worry about parking as Hurst and Hassocks Community Bus will be running a hop-on, hop-off bus service around the gardens.
