“Opening the celebrations will be the Lewes Old Grammar School Show Choir from 12pm. As part of their set, this wonderful children’s choir will be singing a song written by festival curator and jazz star Claire Martin, and specially commissioned for the festival by Arts Council England.

“Following this the foyer will then open up for jam session where all are invited to participate in making and jamming music together. The session will be hosted by the Brighton Jazz School and led by the Wayne McConnell Trio.

“Last year’s jam session was a huge success, and this year is set to be even better. The cafe will be open for refreshments, and entry is free.”
