Jerwood’s summer of activities and workshops

Children’s activities and workshops will take place through the summer holidays at the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings.

There will also be a free summer children’s trail available from the welcome area.

The Ramshackle Rockpools workshop tomorrow (Saturday) from 11.30am to 1pm, will see children aged four to 11 finding inspiration from around the gallery to make their own vibrant, watery creatures and crustaceans, including collectively building a rock pool.

Other activities include Shoreline Stories with Rebecca Fifield on August 15 and 29, who will open up paintings through rhymes, tales and play.

The stories are suitable for children under six.

Tickets for both events are £3.50 a child, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
