Kens Milk make their local debut
Band Kens Milk make their St Leonards debut next Friday (April 25) at The Roomz from 9pm.
Percussionist Jamie Harris, bass player James Davison andtTenor saxophonist Ken Beattie do not play jazz. They don’t play world music, funk, free improv or rock and roll either. However ask them about their influences and all those styles will be included. Jamie played in Trevor Watts’ Celebration Band and also in a duo with Watts where he received an education in rhythmic playing. James has been a bass player in London for more than 20 years. He has performed, toured and recorded with dozens of bands. Entrance is free.
