Legendary nightclub celebrates 25 years

A summer party celebrating 25 years since the dance revolution of the late 1980s is coming to West Exit, Robertson Street, Hastings, this Bank Holiday weekend.

Shoom was where it all started, and to celebrate, over two nights (August 23 and 24) DJs including Greg Wilson, Danny Rampling, and Farley & Heller will be taking to the decks.

There will also be an appearance from Paul Rutherford, Frankie Goes To Hollywood star.

The event is brought to Hastings by DJ Danny Rampling, one of the founders of the UK club scene, and his wife and fellow DJ Ilona.

Danny said: “Shoom was the club that kick-started the UK dance scene. There will be great music, a great atmosphere, and a very friendly crowd.

He promised music from the past, present, and indeed the future.

Weekend tickets are £25 with individual tickets available.
