Littlehampton town show back for 14th year of fun

Back for its 14th year, the Littlehampton Town Show & Family Fun Day is set to be an afternoon of fascinating performances and dog competitions.

The popular event held at Rosemead Park organised by Littlehampton Town Council and the Town Show Committee returns on Saturday, September 10 from noon to 5pm.

Chair of the Community Resources Committee, Councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper said: “The Town Show & Family Fun Day is a an excellent community celebration with plenty of things for everyone to see and do.”

There is also a performance from The Silhouette Show, featuring music from 1900s through to 1960s, complemented by The Edwin James Festival Choir, songbird Alexis Twine, West Sussex Girl Guide Choir and the Inspirations Choir.

The ever-popular free dog show returns for 2016, organised by the Littlehampton Dog Training Club - with categories including Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Best Veteran and Best Rescue Dog.

The show will also feature exhibits including everything from vegetables and flowers to outstanding skills in the handicraft section.

Littlehampton’s gardeners will also be honoured for their hard work at the Garden and Allotments Competition awards ceremony.

For those who prefer a quieter activity, a game of Bingo with the Wick 50up club is a must- with the first session starting at 1pm.

The Town Show Food Court is sure to please with a range of stalls from local caterers.
