Martyn's the man who has stories to sing
FOLK with an edge is maybe the best way to describe the kind of music Martyn Joseph will be bringing to Petworth's Leconfield Hall on March 8.
By the time he plays there, he'll have enjoyed a month touring Canada, a place where he finds it easier to get into the folk festivals perhaps than he does over here.
But perhaps that's because Canadian Folk has a much broader context.
"Over here, people think that folk playing the fiddle or part of Morris dancing," said Joseph.
