Migrating

IN perfect formation they emerge in the skyTaking to wings, and their call they cryThis is the time for them to migrateTo warmer climes and not hesitate.

The geese are a sign of the changing seasons-

How do they tell and sense the reason?

Seeing flocks wend their way east

To place they know there will be peace.

Way up above, in an October sky,

Looking upwards, in even motion they fly.

Made aware as they pass of their evocative call,

Soon out of sight but rememered by all.
