Murderous musical thriller
After a sell-out production of A Little Night Music, PH Productions returns to the Mill Studio with Stephen Sondheim’s musical thriller, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, Wednesday, April 20-Saturday, April 23, 7.30pm, Thurs and Sat mats 2.30pm).
Set in 19th century London, Sweeney Todd seeks his revenge on Judge Turpin with the help of Mrs Lovett and her meat pies. He will slit as many throats as he needs to get to the Judge.
This production has been re-imagined for the Mill Studio’s chamber setting and incorporates an eighteen piece orchestra.
