Night Owls to end 2014 with a bang

An amazing band is set to conclude Steyning Jazz Club’s 2014 season with a festive bang.

Andy Dickens’ New Orleans Night Owls head to the venue tonight (Friday, December 5).

Doors open at 7.45pm and the gig starts at 8.30pm.

Steyning Jazz Club presents the wonderful cornettist, vocalist, raconteur and flugel player Andy Dickens who has cleared his diary for the show.

He’s bringing with him a band of his favourite players.

With Andy will be Simon Picton on guitar and banjo, Rod Brown on drums and handbeats, Brett Neville on string bass and Ewan Bleach on clarinet and saxophone.

The band promises an evening of fine music from Dr John’s New Orleans through to the driving swing of Clark Terry and Oscar Peterson, all packaged in wholesome good humour.
