Old Town artist shows at Crown
Benjamin Phillips is a visual artist, illustrator and writer based in Hastings. An exhibition of his recent works will be on show at The Crown, in All Saints Street, from November 13 to January 6, from 11am-11pm seven days a week.
The works on display will include original drawings, watercolours, prints and ceramics. Benjamin’s work is often playful and full of humour though other times more troubled and sinister, and his work is a reflection on everyday contradictions and feelings of unease. A review said of him: “He reminds us of the importance of using the left side of our brain and to ABC (always be creating) but most importantly, to never grow up.”
