The band only played its first show in March last year but has already earned a reputation for incendiary live performances.

The band - comprising of Alex Rumble on vocals, Christian Ward on bass, Patrick Thompson on guitar, Matt Lewis on keys and Jonathan Royston-Claire on drums - boast a wealth of experience, and are no strangers to the large stage following years of national and European touring and festival appearances including Reading and Leeds.

They comment: “Since the band’s inception we’ve always set out to bring a ‘big stage’ show to smaller venues and we were delighted when we got the news that the Round Table wanted us to bring our live show to their famous stage.”

The Cavaliers are known for their accurate covers of artists as varied as Aerosmith to Avicii, right the way through to The Killers and Calvin Harris. Bringing the contemporary dance music to a live band scenario is one of their proudest achievements.

“We wanted to be different. We wanted to offer revellers something they have never had before, so we started trying the dance anthems. We’ve been turning pubs into full blown nightclubs and the crowds are never quite sure what has just hit them!”
