Return of folk clubat the Jenny Lind

It was a break, quite literally, as organiser Tony Streeter broke is ankle and was unable to haul PA and light equipment around.

For their return, raggedtrouseredfolk are delighted to welcome folk club favourites Dana and Susan Robinson from Asheville, North Carolina.

Dana and Susan tour the UK every year and raggedtrouseredfolk are delighted they have been able to fit Hastings into their schedule this year.

Dana and Susan have been described as .... ‘Two guitar-playing, banjo-frailing. fiddle-sawing, and harmony singing interpreters of the American experience. Their unique blend of contemporary songwriting and traditional Appalachian music bring to their performance a deep understanding of America’s music heritage.’ Or as WBSU Radio Indiana said, ‘Great great music.’

The gig is upstairs at the Jenny Lind, High Street on Tuesday, September 16.

Support is from popular local folk singer Ed Boxall. Tickets are available on the door priced £7.
