Rocking around the clock all year to help 24/7 young carers
A Lindfield shop was rocking around the clock for charity.
Staff at Lindfield’s Co-op donned wigs, hats and inflatable musical instruments to launch their fundraising drive for the Co-operative business group’s 2013 Charity of the Year, Carers Trust, which helps isolation and provides much needed breaks, information, advice and support for 14 to 25-year-olds carers.
The “Rock Around the Clock” theme acknowledged the 24/7 nature of work by an estimated 500,000 young people across the UK, who care for someone else.
