Rotarians donate dictionaries

Generous Rotarians have donated one hundred dictionaries to students at Billingshurst Primary School.

Year six students received the books on July 18 by Billingshurst and District Rotary Club president Tony Priestley as par of the groups ‘Dictionaries 4 Life’ event.

Mr Priestley said: “Billingshurst Rotary Club find it a great pleasure supporting the young students at the local primary school, assisting with their future development as they progress onto the Weald Community School, by annually presenting each year six student with a dictionary.”

The president added he is eager to hear from anyone who is interested in getting involved with the Rotary club, especially regarding the work they do with young people in the community.
