Minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed.

Letters of thanks for monies sent as reported in last minutes.

Secretary's report and treasurer's report given. Welfare, holidays and one day outings were discussed.

We had a bingo afternoon on Wednesday at the Legion Hall. Our Spring Fair will be on Saturday, May 17.

Then raffle drawn, sales table did business as did the clothes rail.

Our speaker was then introduced for a talk on the Redoubt Towers, Eastbourne. Fan Stovold showed slides and gave us a history of the tower from why and when it was built and its uses right up to the present day. We were encouraged to visit and see for ourselves, there were many questions. We showed our thanks and the meeting closed.

We meet Wednesday evening, second in the month at the Legion Hall at Little Common. Come and visit us!
