With Queens just underway and Wimbledon just round the corner, the website has announced the results of a survey of the country’s tennis court capitals.

Ranking places according to tennis courts per head of population, Lewes came in eighth (one court for every 244 people), while Haywards Heath was 16th (one per 408 people), and Chichester was 18th (one per 441 people).

Property Detective cross-references data from many sources, including Ordnance Survey, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Office for National Statistics, police and local authorities, to give a postcode-level assessment of what it is really like to live in a particular place.
