Singers plan to serenade music lovers in Burgess Hill

Music for a summer's evening will be performed by four musical friends from Mid Sussex on Saturday evening (June 25).

Lea Graham Quartet’s Summer Serenade will include songs by Flanders & Swann, Gilbert & Sullivan, Mozart, Cole Porter, Elgar, Lloyd Webber and Kern.

The singers – Susan Fleet, Belinda Sharp, Chris Simms and David Farmer – plan to serenade the audience with music for a summer’s evening.

Susan said: “The evening promises to provide an eclectic mix of musical styles and recitations intertwined with plenty of humour, which has become the hallmark of the Quartet.

It’s for a good cause too. Proceeds will be donated to the local branch of the British Red Cross. At the heart of their work is providing help to people in crisis, both in the UK and overseas. The Red Cross is committed to helping people without discrimination, regardless of their ethnic origin, nationality, political beliefs or religion.”

Summer Serenade takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 25, at Burgess Hill School for Girls.
