It was a wet and windy Saturday and as a rainbow appeared at the first whistle, Middys hopes for a win were high.

Chichester started strong with Middys defending hard for the first 5 minutes.

Strong breaks from both teams resulted in a goal for Chichester from a penalty corner.

Middys continued to fight hard with strong passing between the midfield and forwards. However a lucky break resulted in a second goal for Chichester.

A further penalty corner resulted in another goal for Chichester leaving the score at 3-0 at half time. With a strong half time team talk from reserve coach Siobhan, Middy’s started the second half with high intensity.

Some strong saves from new goalie Brenda and increased communication throughout the half maintained a 3-0 result. Man of the match was awarded to Louise Kay.
