Nina Samuels, one the fastest-rising contenders in women’s wrestling, and power-packed New Zealander Aaron ‘Haka’ Henry, who has proved a sensation since he arrived in the UK recently on a world tour, will both be in action during a huge five-bout show on Monday (April 4) that will also include a multi-wrestler survivor tag-team bout with an American-style, over the top rope finish.

Samuels is one of four big names who will feature in an international knockout tournament that also includes wrestlers from Jamaica, Spain and Ireland to crown the first Premier Wrestling Federation ladies champion.

The all-action Londoner, who has already attracted the attention of global grappling giants WWE, will be battling it out for the title with towering West Indian star Amazon, who has wins over Britani Knight, now a headliner in America under the name of Paige, Sweet Saraya and Erin Angel on her Worthing record, the globe-trotting, flame-haired Irish girl Rhia O’Reilly and masked Spanish gladiator Dragonita.

Henry, who performs the Haka, the tribal war dance made famous by the All Blacks rugby team, in the ring before he gets to grips with his opponents, has earned rave notices during his short stay in the UK. Monday’s bout will be his last before he jets out for America the next day.

Among the other stars in action will be ‘Wonder Kid’ Jonny Storm, local favourite Barry Cooper, the bad boy of wrestling Sid Scala, and another newcomer, Earl Black Jr., whose father was a two-time American tag champion with Stu Hart’s Stampede promotions in the United States.

The show starts at 7.45pm. For tickets, including reserved ringside seats and discounts for advanced bookings, contact the box office – call 01903 206206 or log on to the website www.worthingtheatres.co.uk
