Summer Music Season continues

The Summer Music Season hosted by David Quantick continues at the Electric Palace Cinema, High Street, Hastings, tomorrow (August 31) and Saturday, September 7.

The renowned music journalist and comedy writer, who now lives in Hastings, has hand-picked a cluster of music-themed films and performances, Q&As and screenings.

David Quantick has written for NME, Q, The Word and Uncut magazines, as well as authoring biographies of The Clash, Beck and Eddie Izzard. His TV writing credits include The Day Today, The Thick of It and TV Burp and he presents Radio 2’s Blaggers Guide.

On Saturday, August 31, will be a screening of Beware of Mr Baker (8pm), a candid documentary of the life of legendary Cream drummer Ginger Baker.

The season draws to a close on September 7 with a screening of Talking Heads’ concert movie Stop Making Sense (8pm).
