That'll Be The Day- Christmas show in Worthing

WHO says variety is dead? It Isn't. It's alive and kicking - and rocking and rolling.

Out of 30 recent dates, no fewer than 28 were sell-outs for the rock and roll variety show That'll Be The Day - an extraordinary achievement for a show which has been going 23 years.

As show creator and performer Trevor Payne says: "It's unique now both for its longevity and its success."

And the great news is that it is back in Trevor's home town of Worthing this Christmas in its festive format. That'll Be The Day - Christmas Show will be at the Assembly Hall on Saturday December 27 and Sunday December 28 at 7.45pm.

"The show changes every year which keeps it fresh and fun, but the formula remains the same. We are a rock and roll variety show, and we are not afraid to use those words. We are a variety show. For many years variety was a word that was seen to be old-fashioned in its ideas and concept. Everyone spoke about the great variety clubs and cabarets. Sadly they've gone now."
