The Royal British Legion Women's Section - July 18

ON July 1 we did not have our usual meeting; we went on an outing to Lathe Barn, at Burmarsh in Kent.

Most of the ladies were British Legion members, some were WRAC Association.

We had the most beautiful day for our trip, the countryside looked lovely; it was about an hours drive.

When we got to Lathe Barn, our secretary went to find what time the cream tea was, there was enough time for the ladies to look around the shops, and also the beautiful countryside.

We all had an excellent cream tea, plenty for all.

When we got on the coach to come home, we had a raffle with some very nice prizes. On the lovely drive home it was so hot but we all enjoyed the journey back.

Do not forget ladies, our meeting next meeting, will be on August 5 at 2pm at usual venue.
