But fret not - the Royal Hippodrome has a fantastic line-up of professional touring shows ready to entertain the family.

On Tuesday October 27 (3pm) and Wednesday October 28 (11am & 3pm) the Royal Hippodrome welcomes Dr Longitude’s Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie.

So roll up for “the most magnifical, tremendible and fantasticulous” experience in town... The caravan of curiosities and its crew of mysterious misfits have arrived to entertain, amuse and beguile.

From the makers of The Terrible Infants, The Trench and The Vaudevillains comes an indoor spectacle packed with Vaudeville, circus, puppets, dance, music and magic; professional charlatans who will regale the audience with tales of wit, virtue and courage and rendered with a bizarre theatricality all of their own.

Then on Friday October 30 (11.30am and 3pm) particularly for fans of Frozen comes the UK Tour of The Snow Queen.
