Hurricane Katie is about to hit town

Get ready to be blown away when Hurricane Katie comes this way as part of the Hastings comedy fringe festival in Old Town.

Comedian Katie Pritchard has not performed in Hastings before so watch out for her whirlwind live gigs at Whistle Trago on Thursday at 7pm, and Ye Olde Pump House on Friday at 9pm.

Katie specialises in all things comedy carnage and is the star of comedy sketch podcast Literally Comedy.

Come along and enjoy sublime craziness from her unique alternative musical stand-up style; audiences can expect characters, shiny costumes, sweets, parodies and original songs on her ukulele called George.

She is also somewhat proficient at impersonations of inanimate objects, and is a professional Kazoo player. It’s going to be one big magical mystery tour around the inner workings of her brain.

She was described by Female Arts Magazine as “sometimes surreal, often unusually perceptive, but always original and entertaining.”

Pritchard is currently nominated for comedy awards in Stand Up For Cider 2016 and Hilarity Bites 2016.
