Panto for the community

Babes in the Wood by Adrian Barradell and directed by Mark Clark is the panto from the Eastergate Players.

Performances are Tuesday-Saturday January 24-28 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday 28 at 2pm. All performances take place at Eastergate Parish Hall.

Tickets can be obtained at Barnham Post Office or at Balloon-a-Doo in York Road, Bognor Regis. Alternatively you can download an order form from the Eastergate Players’ website at www.eastergateplayers.org.uk.

Jill will be played by Emma Russell; Jack by Ricky Deadman; Ben by Kim Clinch; Bill by Sarah Mount; Robin Hood by Jason Green; Alan a-Dale by Michelle Peters; Will Scarlet by Donna Ifould; John Little by Georgina Jackson; Sir Guy of Gisburn Nick Holland; and King Richard by Graham Rousell.

Eastergate Players are based in the Six Villages area of West Sussex (Eastergate, Westergate, Barnham, Yapton, Walberton and Aldingbourne).

A spokesman said: “We are a non-profit-making organisation that performs a pantomime for the community every January. This takes place in the historic Eastergate Parish Hall during the last week of January.

“We aim to benefit our local communities, give all our audience a night out to remember, and have fun on the way!”
