Brought to you by local theatre company ‘Out There Productions’, this hilarious adaptation of the traditional story tells the tale of young Tom the Woodcutter’s unrequited love for the beautiful farmer’s daughter, Red Riding Hood. Meanwhile in another part of the forest a suave and sophisticated wolf, bored with his diet of chickens is looking for something more appetising to eat! Granny Hood who lives in a cottage in the woods is feeling unwell and ‘Red’ is off to visit her. With a host of comedy characters, great songs and brilliant one liners, this family pantomime is a must see this Christmas.

The show features a host of talented local performers, some of whom have worked on the professional stage. There is also a chorus of local young singers and dancers.

The show is directed by Avril Crawford who told us “My first professional acting job was in Pantomime and I got the bug. There is something magical about Panto. I have directed Pantomimes before but it has always been an ambition of mime and my husband Gary’s to produce a show in our home town of Battle. We are lucky to have such a great cast and I am confident that the show is going to be a big success”.

Tickets are available online at ticketsource.co.uk/otp or from the Memorial Hall.
