The production promises a heart-warming and powerful story told through the eyes of a young boy on his journey through the dark streets of Victorian Vaudeville London to the glitz of early Hollywood. The tale follows Chaplin through his early career, showbiz ambitions and often fractious relationship with his mother, family and his first love.

The cast includes Steven Arnold (best known for his long-term character butcher’s son Ashley Peacock in Coronation Street), Nicole Faraday (Bad Girls/Emmerdale) as Charlie’s mother Hannah Chaplin, Helena Gullan (Once – London’s West End) and a cast of actor-musicians whose combined experience includes Buddy, Dreamboats and Petticoats, Return To The Forbidden Planet, Jersey Boys and The Commitments.

Tickets for The Charlie Chaplin Story cost £19.
