There’s still time to enter the new Battle of the Bands

It’s not too late to enter this year’s revamped Horsham Battle of the Bands competitions.

The covers and originals events will take place on Saturday, August 9, in the Human Nature Garden in Horsham Park (12pm to 10.30pm).

The acoustic event will take place on Sunday, August 10, at its natural home of the Holbrook Club (6.30pm to 10.30pm).

Co-organiser Matt Andrews said: “We’ve totally revamped the competition.

“It will now take place in the summer in front of a panel of expert industry judges with brand new prizes on offer, such as photo and video shoots, recording time and an iTunes single release.

“There are no heats this year as we envisaged it taking a while for people to get used to the new date and format. So there’s spaces left!”

£3 entry to both events. Bring ID. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a full bar and food at both venues.
